Busy

I'm tired, overwhelmed, and exhausted.  I could go to sleep right now.  We've had too many long days and late nights.  I just need to make it through tomorrow.  I'm not complaining, it's just the way it is.
Katie had her first swim meet a couple of days ago.  It went well.
Open houses for both children tonight.
I'm looking forward to a nice long weekend, full of projects. A new"regular" routine will start next week, which will be really nice for me.
Any plans for the weekend?
Granola recipe posted in the kitchen.
xoxo

I'm so sorry you're overwhelmed! It sounds like you've been running ragged! I'll be praying for you guys to get some rest and rejuvination! I absolutely love routines - knowing what to expect and when to expect it...it can be so comforting!

It is so easy to get overwhelmed, especially during the first week or two of back to school. I am hoping to get back into a regular routine next week, but it might be more like two weeks :-)

I feel the same way. It's hard getting back into a routine and all this back to school stuff can be overwhelming at times!

Also? I just made granola yesterday, too. Great minds think alike!

Oh, how I remember the days of the first weeks of school. As a teacher with kids of her own, it was both a happy time and a brutal gauntlet to run!

I hope things settle down for you, dear! Knosh that yummy granola for some quick energy!

I understand exactly how you feel - I'm feeling overwhelmed lately too, and just exhausted. I think this transition from summer back to the school schedule is really difficult! I hope you get a burst of energy and feel better soon.

I made granola last week also, but I love the addition of the blueberries. Next time I'm going to try that!
