Since 1999 my college roomies and I have been getting together every other year. We all try our best to make it and sometimes it doesn't happen. This year one of the girls couldn't come, she lives over seas and it just wasn't possible. We missed her dearly, but we were able to skype which was almost as good. We spent the good part of one day at the arboretum. It was sticky and hot, but beautiful. I feel blessed beyond measure to have these girls in my life. They are so special to me. God has given me such wonderful treasures.

There is nothing better than getting together with girlfriends! My two best girlfriends and I have a ladies weekend each summer - I look forward to it all year! Lovely photos!

ReplyDeleteI have a group of girls (8 of us). We call ourselves the GNI girls (Girls Night In) and meet up once for eight months out of the year, have a huge Christma bash with all the hubbys and kids and basicly love each other to death. Having a support system and time away from my family (whom I love dearly) mkes me a better wife and mommy:)
