Before braces party!!


Katie got her braces last week.  We had to have a little party with homemade marshmallows and popcorn.  Two of Katie's favorites that are not allowed while the hardware is on.
Homemade marshmallow recipe here.  I posted a recipe for grilled fruit crisp at the kitchen and would love to hear what you think.

    What a great idea...I wish I'd thought of it! We had a "braces off" celebration when my kids got their braces off - they ate popcorn, chewed gum and had corn on the cob!

    We did something similar before both of my kids got their braces. It's so fun. I don't envy all of the appointments you'll have to go to but it sure will be worth it.

    This is such a good idea! I would have LOVED this back in the day! I would have had corn on the cob, Corn Nuts, and taffy!

    I'm definitely going to keep this party idea in mind when it comes time for my kids to get their braces. I so love s'mores. My husband had NEVER heard of them - can you believe it?

    What a great idea! All three of my kids had braces, and I had braces as an adult, so I can relate:)
