Does this ever happen to you?
I'm not exactly sure how, but it happened to us over our Christmas break.
I remember walking into the guest room thinking, this is driving me crazy!
So I spent some time clearing it off.
Much, much better.
Brian's Aunt Kathy gave us this desk a few years ago. I'm hoping to refinish it this summer. Have any of you refinished furniture? Any tips or suggestions?
It's been a busy week and I am really glad it's Friday.
Date night tonight.
Friends for dinner tomorrow night.
Birthday party for my nephew/going away party for my Dad (he's going to India to help with the ministry).
Visiting a new Church on Sunday. This would be number 4.
How about all of you? What are your plans for the weekend?
I would love to hear about them.
Well, whatever you do stay warm!
xoxo
Rach
Looks nice! See you Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThanks Susie! Can't wait for those whoppie pies. :)
ReplyDeleteplease, come do my desk. it's making me completely crazy and looks worse than yours!
ReplyDeletewhere are you visiting on sunday? if you're smart somewhere with off-street parking . . . the parking at central is a NIGHTMARE lately, and even more so if you drive a ridiculously large van . . . which i do . . . the joys of winter in minnesota!
blessings, my friend!
It always feels so good to get something organized. I just wish it would stay that way.
ReplyDeleteWhere have you been checking out for churches? It is a hard thing because there is so much time in between visits.
I know what you ladies are saying! When stuff is a mess it drives you nuts, but then it feels so much better when it is done and organized. Keeping it that way is a whole different story! I think it helps to have a system in place, but sometimes life gets busy!! I have been doing this organizing challenge, I posted about it last week I think. I'm going to tackle my dresser this weekend!
ReplyDeleteAs far as churches we have visited City Life, First Evangelical Free, Messiah, and this week House of Mercy. Parking is terrible! We had to drive around the neighborhood this week when picking up the kids from club!
We are going to Mt Ayr. Sam, our youngest is wrestling in a H.S. tournament there tonight and tomorrow. I get to see my parents and brother's family. The twins just crack me up! Then I go to Bible study on Sunday night, we are on week 2 of "Esther" by Beth Moore. Good stuff! See you in July?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun weekend Dawn! You are right the twins are a crack up! There must be something genetic going on there. Ian is always saying such off the wall stuff, and I have no idea where he comes up with it. I bet your house was full of laughs with three boys! Esther and Beth Moore what a great combo. Wouldn't miss the reunion. I've got to get the date on the calendar.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment you left. I think I'm keeping the top. You've got a beautiful family as well.
